 Dear Friends and Family We have been looking at life this month with the quotes of Dr David Livingstone, who travelled along the routes where we are based in Western Zambia. It seems all about direction and Kevin actually erected new signage around the base this month!“Anywhere, providing it is forward.”“I place no value on anything I have or may possess, except in relation to the kingdom of Christ. If anything will advance the interests of the kingdom it shall be given away or kept, only as by giving or keeping it I shall promote the glory of him to whom I owe all my hopes in time and eternity. “We had a chance to visit and give gifts to Kanyumbu, a child we sponsor.We enjoyed a brief visit by a USA team, 828, who encouraged us, and filmed the song written and performed by the Village Of Hope children. A song to give glory to God.The founders of The Zambia Project visited for a few days and encouraged us to not let any amount of waiting, suffering and frustrations distract us from …our purpose… in Western Zambia, at such a time as this.This was certainly echoed as we battled red tape in Lusaka and Katima Muilo for Vehicle relief clearances. We were just so relieved it was finally done when Covid hit us 19 June. |
