Dear friends and family Psalm 92:12-15 “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” How excited we are to think through and live out God’s word in this section of Psalms for 2023. It is just incredible to gain from the age old/up to date Bible everything one needs to go forward into each day of this New Year.Mongu has had a busy and wet January. We’ve watched as always the lightning, heard the wind, felt the rain and seen the floodplains fill up. We’ve renewed relationships and spent many hours this month talking through the big picture here. Each person is valuable to God and to others and we all want to pull together. The Church Planting teams are heading for the villages. The Champions Club is starting therapy. The Save a Life Centre and Clinic are helping the sick and malnourished. The Bible Translators and Consultants are working through Scriptures. School has begun. New children are being welcomed into the Homes. Small groups and courses are restarting at church. Hope Art are beginning with new orders. Volunteers are helping in the Workshop. New chicken coops at the farm are operational now.We are so grateful to God for saving us and giving us these opportunities and to you all for maintaining contact with us, praying for all the initiatives and supporting where you can. We trust this year for you, will also be fruitful and joyful and a time of growth. |
