Dear Friends and Family
September is a lime green colour here in Western Province. I guess it’s because the trees are rooted well as the verses above explain. The Word of God always has something new to teach us, even when known verses are reread.

Project news:

Kev and I have been doing the Discovery Course with the Zambian team we work alongside every day. It has been a great follow up to the ARC conference where we were encouraged to be united and active.

The discipleship center for the youth and young adults has been a hive of activity. Many youngsters who completed their schooling in 2020 have not been able to start studying or find employment. The church and missionaries, under Clarissa, have assisted by giving Life Skills classes. These have included: values, managing money, serving in the church, changing a plug and a tyre, sewing a bag and even some first aid. You can guess what Kevin and I taught here? We have encouraged them to make the most of every opportunity to learn something and to persevere in this season.

We have been inspired by Tanya, Connie and the team at “Save a Life Centre”, who faithfully serve the many children with disabilities, and their parents, as they face many challenges. In my weekly small group with the moms and aunties there have been many great moments of sharing. Each week a different lady has shared her testimony of God’s goodness and the impact of the project. Small beginnings, big sacrifices and then joy and satisfaction “So others may live”. God has been so faithful.
Brand news:

We have had great conversations with our children in Sweden, Australia and RSA. The grandies are quite fascinated by the fact that an owl swooped down on me at the house and that Grandpa has such dirty feet here! 

We love the fact that Cameron and Kyle are on board to give help from afar as Kev needs to do  a water filter installation in Mitete. Vaughn and Kath consistently look out for us being healthy and happy! Marion-Jane does our newsletter distribution monthly and Nicole always sends those gentle loving texts that make us feel so valued.
